Graduation

The Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony will be Wednesday, May 27, 2026, 7:00 pm at Greenheck Turner Community Center. You can also watch the live stream of the ceremony on the D.C. Everest YouTube Channel.

Ordering Final Transcripts

Special Note! Counselors do not automatically send a student’s final transcript. It is the responsibility of the student to send their final transcript. Directions on how to send the final transcripts.

Final Transcripts for the 2025-2026 school year will be available in Xello by the end of June, free of charge. You should request your Final Transcript before August 15.

Following this process will ensure your Final Transcript will be sent to the college of your choice by the end of June.

After August 15, all graduates should request their official transcripts through Parchment, which will have a small fee. Please start here to access Parchment for the first time and Parchment Learner Help Center.

Xello Account Access Following Graduation

Students will have full access to their Xello accounts after graduation as long as they add a personal email address to their account. Before graduation, seniors should follow these directions if they would like to continue using Xello for career exploration: How to add a personal email address to your Xello account. 

D.C. Everest School Accounts

Before, turning in your iPad make sure you do the following:

1. Back up the iPad to iCloud. Settings>Apple ID>iCloud>iCloud Backup
2. If you do not have a personal account, create a personal account to save important documents from your D.C. Everest student accounts. Here is information on how to create:
   • New Apple ID
   • Microsoft OneDrive Account
   • Google Drive Account.
3. Download a copy of any data you wish to have access to in the future to a personal account:
   • iCloud data must be saved to a personal storage account
   • OneDrive data can be saved using the Mover Wizard
   • Google Drive data can be saved using Google Takeout
4. Prepare for your email to be deactivated:
   • Forward any important emails from your D.C. Everest email to your personal email account
   • If you use your school email to log in to any websites change your email address for those sites to your personal email.
   • Save any contacts needed.

Yearbooks

Yearbooks are tentatively scheduled to be distributed from in May. If you did not pre-purchase a yearbook, a limited number of extra yearbooks will be available for $75. Books may be purchased with cash or check during the distribution of pre-purchased books. Payments will not be accepted prior to distribution.

More information will be sent out through email notification and during the daily announcements when the distribution dates are determined.  If you have any questions, please contact the yearbook staff.

Senior Year Academic and Career Planning

During your senior year, the College, Career & Life Ready (CCR) Canvas class, as part of the district’s comprehensive Academic and Career Planning program (College, Career and Life Ready) can help you formulate solid post-secondary plans to match your personal goals.

There are a multitude of resources available for seniors in the CCLR canvas class, including a senior year checklist to ensure you are on track for life after high school regardless of your chosen path: college, training, military or workforce. You can also visit the Career Center, room 213, to help you polish your resume and for information on scholarships, job shadows, job opportunities, college/military visits, and other work-based learning opportunities.  

Another valuable tool to help prepare you for post-high school is the Portrait of the Graduate Dashboard. Seniors should export their portfolios before graduation by logging into their dashboard and choosing “My Portfolio” and “Export Responses.” This will result in an excel spreadsheet that you should save to your personal storage.
