SRH Academics

The DCE Senior High offers a broad curriculum designed to help students prepare for a 21st-century career, balance professional and personal responsibilities, and be prepared — at any point in their post-secondary life — to be a successful learner on the job or while attending a two- or four-year college or university. The curriculum is designed around 16 Career Clusters that provide secondary students with the opportunity to explore career fields and areas of study while earning four- and two-year college credits, attaining industry credentials, gaining hands-on classroom experience, and completing work-based learning opportunities prior to graduation. 

At the DCE Senior High, emphasis is placed on critical STEAM skills. We provide Honors, grade advancement, independent study, Dual Enrollment, Advanced Placement and advanced coursework options at university and technical colleges and students can earn Laude honors (Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, Summa Cum Laude). Our curriculum also includes certification options in nursing, health services, child care, business, agriculture, tech ed, marketing, automotive and construction.
