Students in grades 8-12 who are interested in auditioning for our next musical, All Shook Up-based on the songs of Elvis Presley-should visit the DC Everest Performing Arts CANVAS page. Auditions for All Shook Up will take place on Sunday, December 8 and Wednesday, December 11 at the DC Everest Senior High. You must sign up for an audition slot. To access the audition information, scan the QR code, found on posters in the hallways. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Vesper at the Sr. High School.
The registration forms for intramural basketball are on the bulletin board outside the athletics office. Each team member must complete a registration form. Team captains should collect forms and entry fee and turn them into Mr. Mathies before Xmas Break - December 20.

On December 7th through the 8th Caribou will donate 25% of their profits to New Beginnings for Refugees, a non-profit supported by DC Everests’ very own club ‘Making Wausau a Home’. Simply stop by Caribou Coffee on Schofield Avenue and mention the fundraiser while you order. Don’t miss a chance to sip, savor and support!
The deadline for Senior T-shirt order forms has been extended. Order forms are now due on December 20th.
Seniors: time is running out to order your Class of 2025 ornaments. Please check in with your ELT teacher for more information and to scan the QR code to place your order! Cost is only $10.

Hello DC Everest. We will have some new items available on our online store (Everest Outfitters) starting today. These belong to a new nonprofit called Empower Tees, sizes XS-XL cost $20 and all proceeds go to the Wausau Women’s shelter. There are posters up around the school with QR codes if you would like to purchase one. They are only on the online store at Everest Outfitters .com, and at the top there will be a banner showing Empower Tees. If you click on that you will see the different designs.
Have you been interested in the Hmong culture or want to learn more about it? Come to the Miss Hmong DCE Pageant at 5:00 today to learn more about the Hmong culture as Pader (Pah-der) Thao, Souana (Sho-nah) Lor, NkaujNtxawm (Gao-Jer) Lee, and Hli Nra (Lee Dr-ah) Xiong compete for the Miss Hmong DCE title. In addition, there will be dance performances and vocal performances as well as the pageant. Come to the Miss Hmong DCE Pageant and support your favorite contestant!

This weeks CarryTheE Athlete's of the Week are:
- Senior girls' hockey player Malia Baregi. Malia scored her first career goal in the Storm's opening season victory over Wisconsin Valley Union.
- Junior boys' basketball player Sam Dassow. Sam scored 18 points which included 5 - three pointers, in the teams victory over Superior last Friday.

Seniors – please remind your parents that if they would like to submit a senior ad for this year’s yearbook, the deadline for senior ads is Friday, December 20th. Senior ad information was sent out by mail and e-mail in October. Please contact Mrs. Aleckson or stop by Room 303 if you or your parents have any questions or need a new copy of the senior ad order form.
Tonight, the DC Everest Concert Bands take the stage to help get you into the holiday season. Beginning at 7pm, the DCE Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble and Woodwind Ensemble will be performing in the Auditorium.
