ABC - Advanced Book Club

Book club for freshmen who love to read and discuss high-level books and plays. Freshmen who are considering taking Honors and AP English at the senior High are perfect for ABC! The club will run during Semester 2. We will read and discuss three books (during ELT), and freshmen must read/discuss all three to meet the academic letter criteria. The club is limited to twenty students.

Do you love reading? Are you ready to curl up with a good book now that the cold weather is settling in? Do you want to push yourself with a list of great books? If yes, then join us for Battle of the books.

Be Amazing

Be Amazing Clubs strive to actively impact the community in a positive way.  Meetings focus on community service projects, which may vary in their reach and depth. Those impacted can range from members of the same organization to those out in our community and beyond. Projects can range from an activity that is completed within one meeting to a project that takes many meetings to complete.

Captains Club

Senior and Junior club of student-athletes dedicated to building leadership skills in its members and continuing the CarryTheE Culture in all of our athletic programs.

Chamber Choir

Chamber Choir is a highly selective choir of mixed (SATB) voices.  This choir sings advanced music and performs at choir concerts, solo and ensemble and the Variety Show.  Rehearsals are two days a week during ELT. Members of Chamber Choir must be in Concert Choir or Songspinners, and audition with Mrs. Bates.

IMAGINE showcases the talents of our students and includes musical, dramatic and dance performances in the DCE Senior High Auditorium, Student Artwork Gallery, DCE spirit wear available for purchase, and Student clubs — interactive booths/stations/displays in the Greenheck Field House and DCE Senior High gym!
